The best way to get to know our community is to experience it by joining 25-30 other curious White men in our next cohort for Seeing White: WMRJ Foundations 101. We're excited to get to know you, what we will learn from you, and what you will contribute to this work.
Cohorts meet virtually for 90 min/week for eight weeks. Participants listen/read/watch ~60 min of prep work for each session, even if they must miss one due to an unavoidable or unexpected conflict.
We use the award-winning Seeing White podcast series and curated supplemental materials as an entry point and anchor of foundational knowledge and shared experience.
We meet in small breakouts and facilitated full group to process what we're thinking and feeling about the prep work. No matter how much or little anti-racism or DEI work we have done, this experience challenges each of us to live into our values that everyone has something to contribute and something to learn.
You are invited to participate in the next cohorts in our Foundations series, including 'Examining the M in WMRJ' and 'Race and Class,' as well as to engage in every aspect of the WMRJ community, including our immersive community weekends in Montgomery and Richmond, and weekly virtual Tuesday gatherings in local and action circles.
